Booking and Reservations

How far in advance should I book?

All rental items are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and some events book as much as a year in advance. Popular dates can fill up months ahead, so contacting Norwalk Tent Company as early as possible gives you the best availability.

How do I know what size tent I need?

Generally, you need about 100 square feet for every eight guests when using round tables, or 80 square feet per eight guests with long tables. Don’t forget to factor in extras like buffet area, dance floor, or stage. Our team will measure everything out for each event.

What does the rental price typically include?

Delivery fees usually cover both delivery and setup, plus return trip to dismantle and pick up the tent. However, setup and takedown of tables and chairs is often not included – they’ll be stacked neatly under the tent, and an additional fee applies if you need our team to arrange them.

Do I need to prepare the site before installation?

Before delivery, make sure the area is free from vehicles or obstructions, clear of debris and animal waste, and that any mowing or landscaping is done in advance.

Should I be present for delivery?

While not always required, it’s strongly recommended that you or a trusted representative be present at delivery to confirm placement, verify order, and discuss any specific pickup requirements with the crew.
